July 2021 Manager’s Update

The Hostel in the Forest is a magical, communal space.

Some of the communal experiences that the Hostel provides for travelers are bunks in treehouses, a homemade vegetarian meal shared between Members and Staff, communal toilets and showers, and general space to share time together, such as the campfire circle, Main Dome, Library, Glass House, and Art Room.  Due to the communal nature of the Hostel in the Forest, the Board, Manager, and Staff all believe that the best way to enjoy this special experience together safely is to apply our Covid-19 policy during the reopening phase and until further notice.  Our Covid-19 policy also includes limiting Guest capacity to 14 Guests overall, as well as a limit of 5 Guests per party.  We thank you for your understanding and commitment to keeping the Forest a place for folks to come together and engage safely.  We look forward to seeing you back in the Forest soon.
