November 4th and 5th, Saturday and Sunday (you may attend both or either days)

WORKSHOP: Embracing the Darkness - Uncovering the Wisdom of our Dreams

Moving into the darkest season of the year encourages us to turn our attention inward. As the nights become longer, our dreams often become more frequent and vivid, making it an especially rich time to receive messages from the unconscious which lead us toward our natural state of wholeness. Dreams may reveal our shadow (both bright and dark), orient us to our Self (true nature), and bring together aspects of our inner world that feel paradoxical. In this dream workshop, we'll create a sacred space to interpret our dreams and understand their messages. We will collectively work with three or four dreams each day. Even though each participant may not have the opportunity to share a dream, dreams reveal universal wisdom and present opportunities for healing and transformation for everyone present. More information about the workshop and facilitator here.

Saturday 4-8pm | Sunday 2-7pm; 2-3pm will repeat the teachings about dreamwork and creating safety in the group from the previous day. If you attend the workshop on both days, you may choose to wait join until 3pm on Sunday.

Cost: suggested $40-$100 per day

RETREAT: Full Moon Sweat Lodge

Join us for our November full moon sweat lodge in the forest! In a sweat lodge ceremony there are physical benefits such as purifying the body and ridding it of toxins, and spiritual benefits such as communing with the spirit, a spiritual rebirth, etc.

For guests that are participating in the sweat, they MUST arrive on Friday, November 24th by 4pm and depart on Sunday, November 26th. There will be an opening ceremony after dinner on Friday night, where instructions will be given for the day of the sweat, what to expect, etc. On Saturday we will serve a light breakfast and participants will be asked not to eat after 9:00 or 9:30am. Saturday during the day will be a day of reflection, intention setting, and quiet time, to prepare physically and mentally. The ceremony will begin at sunset. There will be four rounds of the sweat lodge ceremony - lasting somewhere around 2.5 hours in total. There are short breaks in between rounds and water can be brought inside the lodge. After the sweat, a dinner will be served.

Participants are encouraged to HYDRATE (drinking ½ gallon of water a day for the few days before and day of the sweat). Guests are encouraged not to drink alcohol or consume meat for the 48 hours before the sweat. The body will be purifying and ridding itself of toxins during the sweat and this helps to prepare the body for that. No one will be allowed to enter the lodge if they have been drinking alcohol or if they are high on any substances.

More information about sweat lodges can be found here.
