The Hostel is the remarkable place that it is because of the people that give so tirelessy to it’s day-to-day operation. The people who work and live at the Hostel provide the energy that makes it tick. In addition, many people have worked on our work exchange program and contributed to the many daily chores as well as special projects.
Staff members are chosen by the management team, in person on an as needed basis. We typically have 6 staff members with an occasional temporary work exchange position. An aspiring staff member should have been a paying hosteller for at least 3 nights. We traditionally then let that person do work exchange for a probationary period of at least one week before assigning chores and further training.
If you would like to be on staff, send us an email and tell us why. We are always looking for skilled labor in exchange for negotionable work trade. Presently, we could use some electrical, carpentry, and general building skills for various projects. Either way, please contact the management team if interested.
